SynchroChain Timing Belts - For Punishing Heavy Duty Applications
The SynchroChain urethane timing belt incorporates a newly developed CTD timing belt tooth profile which is 100% compatible with the Gates® PolyChain GT® timing belt tooth profile. This allows for direct replacement of a Gates® PolyChain GT timing belt. The SynchroChain timing belt also features premium material usage and construction ensuring reliable mechanical power transmission for high torques and for high dynamic stressing. As the first timing belt of this high-performance class it permits reverse flexing in multi timing belt pulley drives and is the optimum alternative to chain drives and the Gates® PolyChain GT timing belt.
The newly developed CTD timing belt tooth profile ensures faultless meshing and hence smooth running at high speeds. At the same time it prevents tooth ratcheting at high torques. The SynchroChain urethane timing belt is well able to cope with a wide range of requirements. It is suitable for new drive designs and at the same time also compatible for use in existing Gates® PolyChain GT® timing belt systems.
